~ Mad Tea Party Bags & Treats ~

A party is not complete
without some special treats.....

if  you saw pictures of our recent tea party
you may have noticed these sweet
little boxes on each guest's plate....

I used paper mache matchboxes
that I found at Spotlight
& raided my stash of Kaisercraft paper
& Cath Kidston stationary...

I trimmed the paper to size
& heated up the hot glue gun....

CK stickers, ribbon and mini roses
and the job was done!

These little cards came out of
last years Christmas crackers....

they were perfect!

Each of the girls got a
box with a treat inside....

Now for that treat....
we made pendants using
wooden discs decorated with a Mad clock
(from an Etsy collage sheet,
printed on sticker paper &
a layer of Dimention Magic)
and an Alice charm!

We screwed in a tiny eye hook to
thread some black satin cord through.

We made the invitations
by designing and sizing them on the computer
before printing them onto sticker paper.

We stuck the print onto giant playing cards.
Then we punched a hole and added a mini card,
an Alice message (collage sheet from etsy)
and a bit of red heart ribbon from Spotlight.

We also put a bit of magnet on the
back so they could go on the fridge!

I also used an Alice collage sheet
(Etsy again) to make the party bags...

I printed the images on
sticker paper (I buy A4 sheets)
and cut them up to put on
some plain white paper bags.

I added another smaller image
from the same sheet on card
and a Alice message tied with
blue ribbon to each handle.

Time to add some lollies....

I covered some sherbet bottle labels
with pretty paper & added 'drink me'
to the neck of the bottles.
We also put in some candy watches
and marshmallow twists....

I made some strawberry
button lollypops to put in too!

I spent some evenings peacefully
making some
cute little door mice...

So we put one in each party
bag as well!

I made the girls some
Alice (fabric from Etsy) bookmarks too....
and prompty made one for myself as well
because they turned out so well!

no Mad Tea Party is complete without
a Caterpillar....

so I made one!!!!!

And it even has a cute bottom!!!!

I am exchaused just reading
what we created!

I still have lots to do
to finish the school year
but not long to go now!
I can't wait to have more time
to catch up on all your projects
dear friends!!!!
