....living creatively

I adore pretty homewares, interiors and images. I am also a passionate crafter who loves to use paper and fabric creatively to make gifts for my family and friends. I really love to salvage vintage interior pieces and revitalise them to give them a new life... I hope my ideas (or borrowed ideas!), makeover projects, baking and pretty photos can give others some enjoyment and inspiration too!

~ Some Christmas Ornaments & a Bloggy Award ~

I thought I would share
some Christmas delights from
my living room today.
If you saw my last post you
will have seen the pretty
red and white ornament I made
for the Haby Goddess's
Chris Krigle exchange.
I wanted to show you how lovely
the little felt birds look in grey and white!

I attached some of the wings
with a vintage style glass button.

Other wings I stitched to the bodies.

I also made some grey with white wings.
This one has the little heart to attach it's wings.

The muted tones look so pretty on my tree!

This is a vintage button bauble
I made last year.

I also wanted to show you some
sweet grey and white angels
I was given as gifts!

Aren't they lovely!

Last year I filled some
glass baubles with shells
and I have scattered
them around the place too.

Today I also wanted to thank Mimi from
for this sweet bloggy award.

Liebster is a German word meaning "dearest" and the award is given to bloggers with fewer than 200 followers. The award has a few stipulations:

1. Thank the giver and link back to the blogger who gave it you.
2. Reveal your five blogger picks and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog.
3. Copy and paste the award on your blog.
4. Hope that people you have sent the award to forward it on to their favourite bloggers.

Here are five wonderful blogs I love to visit :

1.  Histoire de soie

 Thanks for the inspiration ladies!

I am off to tick some thinks
off my Christmas 'to do' list!

  1. Precious Tiff! THANK YOU for coming to visit me! I always wait to see what you will post next, and it is a joy to see what you have been up to here! Busy teachers are we, but there is always room for crafting! I spent all weekend working on my little theatres for my Etsy shop AND I TOO was working on some birds! I will feature them after the holidays. YOUR LITTLE TWEET HERE IS SOOOOO SWEET! Aren't birds just the best inspiration?

  15. Well done with the award Tiff! You are a constant source of inspration for so many! I just love the decorations, especially the button bauble (have just added IT to my 'to do list'!). Another reason why this gloomy weather is so great: more time to create inside! Your decorations look wonderful and thanks for sharing! xx

  17. Oh I do love a nice white decoration and yours are stunning..I have added seashells to glass baubles too but I put white feathers in mine but not as effective as just the shells alone I think.
I am such a bad blogger, thank you so so much for passing on the award to me and I shall try really hard to post about it soon, I am sorry it took me so long to say thank you..you are so kind.
