~ Sweet Treats! ~

A new book....

a new adventure!

When I saw these moustache lollie pops....
I knew we had to give them a go!!!!

I ordered the mold from ebay
and it arrived on Friday....

ready for a Miss Tiff
Sunday afternoon cooking session!

She followed the instructions
in the book carefully.
The peanut butter filling needed
wizzing in a blender
but was very easy to make.

Miss Tiff made the whole batch
herself without any help from me.....

Then enjoyed a few moustache poses ......

before devouring the yummy treat!!!!

Won't these be fun at my next tea party?!!!
We can't wait to try some
of the other recipies,
they look just as yummy
and just as much FUN!!!

Happy week!

These amazing visitors
were very kid friendly &
Tony was a fantastic
wealth of information.
He shared his love of of reptiles
and the children learned so much
while touching and interacting with them!

Would you believe that their
day job is being movie stars!
The huge snake (Darth Vader)
starred in Nim's Island &
provided the foundations for
the animation in Harry Potter
and a bunch of these guys are currently
working on Terra Nova!

I highly reccomend Tony
for making your next
birthday party a big hit.....
he will also come to your school
or come catch snakes....
if you have any sneaking about!!!

Now for our Lovely Stuff winners.....

Firstly....

the lovely Linda from

who couldn't choose between the cardamom and
honey & rose and geranium soaps!

secondly...
the sweet Sandrine from
who picked the lemongrass
and bergamot soap!

Congrats lovely ladies,
just email me with your address
when you get a chance!

I might even manage a midweek
post this week because we made something
so fun this weekend
I can't wait to share it!!!

Happy week dear friends!

I was going to give her as
a gift but once I put her on the
shelf in my craft room...
I really didn't want to part with her!

I have never made a doll
before and she is far from perfect,
but I have learnt a lot and
I am looking forward
to creating another....

I love the fabric roses I made too,
so good to embelish my fabric creations!
I am enjoying the projects
in my Tilda books
I have just ordered the pretty
Christmas one!
I will let you know what it
is like when it arrives!

Have a happy week dear friends
& don't forget to check out
my giveaway!!!

A great thing about buying from
them at the markets
is that they will take the time
to chat to you about their soap,
so you can ask questions and
find the product that suits you best!
They also have a website (links above & below)
if you don't live on the Gold Coast!

The Nerang Sunday Markets were a delightful surprise
(I am ashamed to say it was my first visit)
because not only was there beautiful handmade soap,
but a huge range of other products too....

amazing coffee.....

delicious pasteries....
(actually all sorts of delicious food!)

 yum....

fruit and veg galore.....

plus there was cured meat, cheeses, Turkish breads
and other producers too!

So after a fantastic morning at the Markets,
I brought some gorgeous soap home....

and popped it into my
newly restyled powder room!!!!

I have to tell you how
wonderful this soap has been to use too!
And now the best bit.....
David and Chissy generously
offered to give away some of their
handmade goats milk soaps
to you my friends!

All you have to do is pop
over to their website
to see which of their gorgeous
soaps you like the best!
Then leave me a comment
(here or Facebook)
to let me know which of their
amazing soaps you prefer
& you will go in the draw to win some!!!
I will radomly select the winners
Sunday the 16th of October
and Chrissy & David will post
you some of their devine soap!

I am fully rested & back to work tomorrow
for the last school term of the year!
Wish me luck!
